First, I want to apologise for not blogging in absolutely ages - since last year. I have so much to post about and will hopefully have them all up in the next few weeks; including London Fashion week favourites, My time at London Fashion Weekend + lookbooks on what I bought, and posts on my university Fashion Communication course. Since being back at Uni, my general first year course’s for semester two includes, Menswear, Fashion Communication, Medium and material, along with Contemporary and Contextual studies (which has continued since semester one). It has been extremely stressful, though I am very pleased with my grades, from semester one (AAAB), along with my course work so far in semester two. Keep an eye out for my post on the communication module we had done in the first six weeks, now it’s finished and complete, I will gradually post the photo shoots, and articles used in the magazine. As I am VERY excited about showing you guys what my group and I have produced.
MARY KATRANZOU
Having showed at London Fashion Week for a number of years now, Katrantzou was a must see show, with her incredible print, unbelievable structures, and all over feminine feel. Mary Katrantzou found inspiration for her Autumn/Winter 13 Collection from; Still life, Crayon box, and Victoriana. This year she has also got collaborations with Longchamp and Topshop. Both released this Month (February) though I have no doubt that they are all sold out.
I find Mary Katrantzou such an inspirational designer, and I feel her work is stunning, I personal am not one for prints but I’ll take one of Katratzou’s printed dresses any day.
Here are some of my favourites from the show, though I don’t think I could fault any (would just take too long to post the whole collection ) …
Hope you have been as inspired by Mary Katrantzou's collection as much as I have..
241.
