London Fashion Week - McQ

McQ – Need I saw much more?
LondonFashion Week Autumn/Winter 2012 was no let down for McQ. What would A/W be without a bit of Military?McQ Alexander Mcqueen was a show I was unable to watch streamed live on theinternet, though thanks to youtube and twitter I managed to catch up on all thegreen, military, floral, dark red velvet and black lace collection by McQ.Stunning.

A massive statement knot was on top of the models head, meanwhile th males had their hair sleekcombed to the side, the military theme started of the show, witharmy like sweaters and strong military coats, gradually developed into coatswith flare at the hem, along with dresses with floral embroidered print andblack lace, cocktail dresses in rich reds and fur collars. McQueen certainly didn’tdisappoint this season, The way McQueen makes their catwalks theatrical opposedto just clothes, he gives it a setting, theme and ‘feel’, this season with theleaves, on the catwalk, what screams, Autumn more than leaves on the ground?.. and this is something that all young designers should look into, especially with fashion developing with technology, it is such a fast paced industryto be part of.

McQ definitely knows how to make a statement and this season, was no acceptation.

RIP Alexander McQueen - your name still lives on.

Rich Red velvet detailing + Black mesh/lace = Stunningly, gorgeously, BEAUTIFUL.

yes Please..

Hope you are as in love with McQ's a/w collection as I am... Stunning detail.
